Tall, sturdy, Siberian species with distinctively paddle shaped leaves. This was received from Pierre Bennerup, and we don’t believe is ‘Jindai’ given its taller (ca.5’) size. Flat topped clusters of small violet flowers with clear yellow centers appear very late in autumn - amongst the last plants to flower here. Beautiful even through frost and attractive to butterflies.
