Non-stinging relative of stinging nettle, and superb foliage plant: quilted, and lightly felted leaves with bold, jagged edges. We received this as B. longispica and it’s like a steroidal B. platanifolia, with foliage twice as large on stems to 5’. Best in shade-part shade. Fuzzy white flowers in late summer top the stems. It has survived -6F here, but we don’t know hardiness beyond that. A few large large plants in quart pots for now, more soon.
