Supposedly Helen Dillon found this historic , 18th century cultivar at a local car boot sale and that’s how it re-entered commerce. We got from Lance Reiners at the garden center in Santa Cruz at the end of the 20th century. Metallic purple & rose bi-color, flowers. Lightly scented, branching, foot-long, appallingly floppy stems- you’ll need to stake, but you’ll be well rewarded.. Blue-green foliage forms sturdy buns. Z6, quart pot
