An in- house attempt to combine the early flowering and larger sepal size of some of the best forms of delavayi with the added hardiness of rochebrunianum. We have been watching for the last 5 years, and this plant produces conspicuous clouds of lilac sepals on stems to 10’ for an extra long period from late June through August, courtesy of its sterility.
