A very clever but apparently spontaneous UK hybrid of Verbena officinalis ‘Bampton’ and Verbena hastata ‘Rosea’, with an effect like a taller ‘Bampton’ as it doesn’t have the strong, candelabra infloresence of hastata. Though this cross is fertile, the seedlings we have had are similar but display a slight range of heights and flower shades and these plants are cuttings of the original clone.
