A strong growing in-house selection with conspicuously pink flushed buds and pink buttoned sepals. Opens white with recurved petals that show more pink on the reverse and a big boss of golden stamens with a heady fragrance . Makes a superb boutonniere. These “pink” forms require higher light levels to express the pigment. A beautiful, unusual addition to shade in any season, but most usefully flowers mid-summer. Can tolerate short periods of drought but requires moisture and shade. To about 3’ x 3’ Z6, quart pot.
